And breathe…

Long time no post, I am almost at the end of my MA, it’s been great and I have no regrets but I’m happy it is almost done. This is one of the last pieces I made for the show, titled ‘Division’, lots of small found objects I collected over some time, partially sanded and covered in gold leaf:

I also installed the revised version of ‘Then and Now’, a life size video projection with cleaver, archive print and sound piece:

And the large patchwork I was making turned into a banner that I took to the Processions parade in June:

Just a bit of tidying up left to do on my essay and I can finally move on.

About Shelley Morrow

Since 2011 I have been predominantly a figurative artist with an interest in conveying expression, movement and gesture. I take the drawings I make and explore them through various processes, particularly embroidery, textiles and etchings. I graduated with a BA in Fine Art at Camberwell School of Art in 1990 and currently taking my MA in Fine Art at Brighton University. I also work at Draw in Brighton, running and teaching Life Drawing sessions
